Tons of oil was spilled in the ocean over the past years. Many people were affected by the spill and marine environment as well. It causes marine life to die; as a result, our fellow fishermen will experience only a small catch. It also weakens sea birds’ flight abilities as it causes little buoyancy for the bird to float on the water. It takes months, even years to clean the spill, depending on how big the damage it causes.
